Speaks for itself really, and at a thousand words a picture it's got a lot to say. Oh, and just in case you don't see a project similar to what you may be looking for doesn't mean we can't do it, it just means we haven't yet. After all, how boring would it be if all our work looked the same? Very, that's how. We enjoy a good challenge. We take pride in every job we do and strive to provide the best solutions to any problem you can throw at us. We're not just mindless pixel pushers and code monkeys, we have brains, brains with ideas in them, good ideas, and we like to use 'em.

Also know that we get better with experience, yeah, I know, you're thinking, "but this is one of the most amazing portolio's I've ever seen, how could it possibly get any better?" Well, it can, and all that you have to do is nothing, because design is our job, that's why you hire us. We make you look better.
Logos
Designed to complement the fun, animated, comic style of SuperLame.com and it's flash web app. The logo is an icon that can be used in many places the "SuperLame!" type style logo can't. It also has more character and personality than a more simple font based logo.

A logo is often the cornerstone of a company. People see it as the visual representation of a brand or product. It's the foundation of a bussinesses image. Everything else follows a logo, good or bad. Don't you want to build on a good foundation?

New, updated logo design for local butcher and grocery store, Patton's Meat Market. The logo keeps things simple and clean, while making a bold impact. Giving the customer the information and brand with one quick look.
This was the beginning to an overall redesign of their entire brand. From logo, to website, to exterior signage and email marketing.
Conceptual new Logo and Animation for popular social video sharing community site Viddler.com. The logo represents a new, modern look and feel. The idea was to show the social nature of the site with connected dots all resulting in a modified "V" for "Viddler".
Automotive Painting and Touch-up company needed to stand out and wanted something that was bold and fun, but still polished and professional. We think we delivered on that.
Logo design for local roofing and remodeling construction company. The three colors in the logo were chosen for their masculine and yet soft tones. Each color holds an icon of the area in which the company, Brimer Construction specializes in. The first, in blue, a pencil, signifying the drafting and design aspect of their construction business. The second in yellow, a screw, conveys the work done. While the third, a taupebeige color, shows the final results of the construction process. All this is enforced by the very strong name "Brimer" above and contained by the lower "construction" block.

Modern color and gradient combo for a very sleek and high tech look to differentiate Waterhouse Exterminating from other exterminators in the industry. This logo is a combination of a letter style logo and iconic logo with a very stylized "WX".

Great Sites We've Made
From the skeletal and nervous system to the fancy clothes you're wearing right now, your website is a modern marvel of digital engineering.
We've worked with many content management systems over the years, each one had it's own good and bad, but nothing had everything we needed. We built our own. And we call it... BrainPlus. We still work with other systems, but we have this as our own custom solution, and it just works. :)

With a client that offers luxury memory foam mattresses we tried to keep with the "make people feel comfortable" kind of feel. The site's background is a custom repeated texture designed not very unlike some of Innerspace's very mattresses. The idea was a soothing, comforting, and relaxing design, all while keeping it from being too feminine and retaining some feel of luxury.
Keeping with the theme developed for the Brimer Construction logo, we took and softened up the site slightly with a playful and strong characterization/mascot of the company owner. The entire site is built on the Wordpress platform and was designed with updating in mind, as the client needed the ability to add posts, galleries, etc. very quickly and easily.
Signage is communication. It is the written language that should effectively cross the verbal and/or sightless language barrier.
Alcott Chromatography site redesign. We set up two complete product catalogs. One for purchasing, one for requesting quotes. Each database had to work together and still contain unique information.
Once the site was done, the client wanted the ability to update and manage the site on their own via an administration area. We built a custom admin section to make the editing very simple, quick, and user friendly to even the most novice of computer users. As with all our custom web apps, we try to keep the learning curve extremely low and easy for just about anyone to get up and running in no time.
Unfortunately, the company has since been bought out and has reconstituted management of the site. Thus the current site no longer even remotely represents the work we had done previously.
SuperLame is a very simple, easy to use web app for adding comic speech bubble to your photos. The app was built with fun in mind, as cheesy as that may sound. It's a Flash based web tool that allows the user to upload a photo, add word balloons, comic style sound effects, and then save your image as a jpeg to use anywhere you want.
The app is completely free and requires no signup or personal information. We created this app to show what we can do with web technologies and because we wanted to. The site and app have received much praise from a number of websites and web personalities, including Cali Lewis of GeekBrief, and Leo Laporte and Amber Mac of the Net@Night podcast.
Conceptual home page redesign for Netflix. The idea was to encourage more click through by prettying up the sign-up page and making the work flow it more intuitive.

Kickin' It Old School
There was once a time before the iPad, Kindle, and digital publishing. Some people still pass small pieces of paper containing bits of personal and business information. These same people sometimes read books, on paper, made from dead trees.
We understand these people. Sometimes, we are these people. While we know the everybody wants to go "green" these days and the future is digital, we're not there yet and we cater to both anolog and digital clients.
We offer a wide range of services, including print materials and oversight of all printing needs. There is life beyond the internet and we understand that just as much as the digital services we provide.

If a picture's worth a thousand words, then why am I writing this? Just take a look at the goods.
Illustration for trade show, Automated Design. This illustration took 40 hours to create using the tools available at the time, airbrush. We have been producing illustrations and artwork for clients before the computer entered the design studio. However, we embraced them early on, in order to expand our capabilities. Previously there was no undo's, layers or versions when artwork was created by hand.

It's about time to move up from animated GIFs. Whether it's a short web app tour to show off your product and how it works, or a full feature film*, we can handle it.

Photography
Capturing Souls, Muwahhahaha!
Point and shoot. If only it was that simple. We go beyond the basics to capture the perfect moment. Maybe it's an extra long setup with fancy lights bouncing all over the subject. Maybe it's a green screen photo that needs some post-production work done to it.
Augment and manipulate, making photos that look more real than real. That's what we do with photography.
